We are a "remote-first" company and there's no requirement for anyone to come into one of our offices on a regular basis - but we have regular (quarterly) offsites.

Your role

You'll join as our first/second product manager - working alongside our designers, engineers and co-founders. You’ll report to and work closely with Felix, the managing director and co-founder of helviX. To be successful as a helviX PM, you'll need to build a deep knowledge of our users, their problems and how they use the product. You'll also need to understand the business constraints from sales, success, support, legal and any other stakeholders. Finally, you'll need to build a great understanding of the wider e-commerce solution industry and competitor landscape. You'll work under the assumption that outcome beats output; shipping is necessary but not sufficient. You'll work with data to measure how solutions perform, only satisfied when it's verified they're solving the problem we are tackling. If not, you'll need to iterate with another solution, optimizing for speed of learning. You'll need the ability to influence your teammates and stakeholders using data and sharing context, not gut feeling. You should be fully fluent in the three "languages" (design, engineering and business) to allow you to communicate with everyone equally well. Key requirements 🔑

• 2+ years experience performing a product role in a cross-functional team
• Knowledge of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery, such as prototyping, user research, MVPs and roadmapping
• Ability to figure out solutions to complex problems with many constraints using sound judgement to assess risks. Ability to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative
• High degree of empathy & curiosity plus a bias for action
• Strong written and spoken English & German skills
