We help our customers (steel service centers) achieve greater revenue and a better digital presence & experience by building the world's first dedicated eCommerce platform entirely for the steel industry, which may sound niche, but is a multi billion dollar market!

Your role

Join our international agile Product & Engineering team and take an active role in shaping our engineering culture and the future of thousands of sellers and customers worldwide. At helviX you will have a direct impact on our product, our users, our organization, and our engineering practices.

You will work in an effective, autonomous feature-based team, where you will get to play out your dev skills in a high-impact driven environment. You will be responsible for the full cycle of feature development in your team ("You build it, you run it"), and take part in continuously improving the backend.

Your tasks & responsibilities will include:

• Build scalable backend systems and APIs
• Deliver top-quality code that scales and fits our business needs
• Participate in steering the tech stack for our software solutions
• Architect and implement software solutions to be future-ready
• Establish a high-quality tech culture and be proud to share it
• Be involved in collaborations with external vendors

What you need to succeed

• Significant professional experience, preferably in fast-growing, international SaaS companies
• Proven experience in serverless cloud-native environments using TypeScript and NodeJS
• A passion for API-driven development in high load, transactional environments
• Knowledge with automated testing and of when and what to test
